Gay Marriage Amendment on the Ballot in Texas

There ain't a chance in hell that Texans don't pass the amendment outlawing gay marriage by at least at 2 to 1 majority, and I'll bet on that. Any takers?

So where has this issue been in Virginia this year? Has Kaine effectively smothered it as a potential campaign issue by expressing support?

The governor has no control over it and Kaine has covered that up like everything else.
Besides, there is no danger of it not passing here either. It got 79 votes in House, including minority leader Frank Hall.
BY the way, my guess for the TX amendment is 80%.

And the wonderful thing about this amendment is that once gays are legally prevented from marriage, we straight people can get back to wrecking the "institution" all on our own without their help.
