I'm sitting here filling out my 1040 and I have to wonder how folks don't just look at this thing and immediately want to become Republicans.

Which kind of Republicans? The Republicans in the GA who raise our taxes? Or the Republicans in the US Congress who increase spending, medicaid, won't close the border, or fix social security? Or that other kind of Republican - the ones the Libs call 'extremists' - which is code for Conservative.

The old joke for tax reform is to take Congress, lock them in a room with their W-2's, the IRS paperwork and instructions, and let them all do their own taxes.
A simplified code would be forthcoming in about 12 hours.
