December 7, 1941

Today marks the 64th anniversary of the Japanese assault on Pearl Harbor. Today survivors of that attack and other veterans around the nation will gather to remember the deadliest and most destructive attack on American soil until 9/11.

Please take some time today to give thanks for the Greatest Generation and the sacrifices they made to secure our freedom and protect the world from tyranny.

The Greatest American generation fought a war that ended in 1783. The 2nd Greatest fought a war that ended in 1865. My parent's generation was #3 for accomplishments but, of course, #1 in loving admiration from their children.
