One Week To Go

Folks, we are down to the wire now. Jerry Kilgore, Bill Bolling, Bob McDonnell, and all our Republican candidates need our help. There is still a lot left to be done between now and election day and believe me, every little bit helps.

If you have any time between now and election day, even for a few hours, please call your local party leaders and offer your services. Put another bumper sticker on your car, another sign in your yard, talk to a neighbor or coworker, make some phone calls, stuff some envelopes, pass out some literature. We need everyone's help to get across the finish line.

I know there are a lot of people out there who are complaining that they just aren't excited about this campaign. Let me remind those people what is at stake here. If Republicans fail to make it to the polls on Tuesday, it means four more years of a Democrat in the Governor's Mansion. That's four more years of tax increases, broken promises and frustration for the people of Virginia. Jerry Kilgore is a Virginian who will stand up for Virginia. Let's help him win the day next Tuesday.

You Republicans are funny. Four years of Mark Warner, and Virginians give him a 70% approval rating. Could the same be said of Gilmore?

The republican wedge issues mantra is dead. It won't fly in this election, and that's for sure.

Anonymous is ignoring the fact that Tim Kaine ain't Mark Warner, with all the political skills that go along with the name.

Mark himself has distanced himself from Kaine on at least two major issues, knowing that to align behind his Lt. Gov. would be certain death in the upcoming '08 presidential campaign.
