Bob McDonnell - Steve Baril debate tomorrow

Just a reminder that the primary debate season kicks off tomorrow in Norfolk. I know that candidates of both parties have had joint appearances, but to my knowledge, the Baril-McDonnell event tomorrow is the first one calling itself a "debate."

On another AG note, Bob McDonnell announced some new policies on sex offenders today:
Virginia should tighten its 10-day limit for sex offenders to register with an online database after their prison release and make it a crime to knowingly process credit card payments for Internet child pornography, Republican attorney general candidate Bob McDonnell said.

McDonnell, a seven-term delegate from Virginia Beach, is in a battle with Richmond attorney Steve Baril for the GOP nomination in the June 14 statewide primaries.

Sex offenders would be required under McDonnell's proposal to add their names, identifying data and photos to the Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry before they leave prison, McDonnell said at a news conference Monday.
